Maybe you remember, i am JLG / GamingTaktik. A long time ago we played Shogun 2 together, and it was quite nice. You may know, there is a new Total War addon, called Fall of the Samurai. Is anybody interested in playing it together and rock the Clan Map, contact me or leave a comment. :)

Hey guys!

To make this clear to anyone:

1. This is a freetime activity and anyone is free to come online when he wants to.

2. When you wanna play, simply ask our members to play with you. If they have no time, please respect that. I cannot and won't force anyone to play.

3. This clan is about having fun. If you don't have fun, because people are not online all the time and you cannot get games running with several of our members, I feel sorry for you. But that is how things are at times. We all have real life tasks, some live in other timezones ("poor" jason...^^), some are online later at night, others in the early afternoon etc. If you are not happy with that, I understand you but be aware: that won't change. So feel free to make your own clan if you cannot live with this. If you leave us, I wish you the best and won't be angry at all : )

4. I am not very active myself in the last time, cause I have plenty of work to do. But in the next weeks, I will have much more time. So chin up and have a little patience : )

Hey members and officiers of IR 30,
As you all know our clan have a big problem: We have no players. Of our 18 members only 5 are online sometimes! When have you played Shogun the last time? The problem is that a clan without members isn´t a good clan. Of course, I still like the idea of our clan, but if nobody is online it is no fun. 18 members aren´t much, and if they are not online in the fact we have NO members.
Some of our active members are really angry because of that, so we should talk about that. If we aren´t able to change something, some players, and maybe me to, are gonna leave this clan. This would be very sad and I don´t want to do this, but if nothing changes there is no choice!

Today I got the mail with our first matches:

Each player should arrange his own game times with his opponent via the Budo league chat room or via Steam.
Each game to be best of three i.e. first person to win 2 games gets the overall win.
Please pass the result of each game to one of the Takeda clan members, if I'm not around, and we will post the record.
Below is a link to the basic rules. Key thing is to save replays of each game and email them to me. These replays will be used on YouTube unless you have any objections.

Hi friends!

As I mentioned before, the Budo-Leauge will start next weekend (Friday 29th- May 1st). The ones who showed interest in the league shound tell me their Mail adresses, so I can organzise games for them and give them further information how this all will work.I got 2 mails from the league organziser in which all important stuff is explained which I will redirect to you.

This weekend is a "meet-and-greet weekend" to get contact with the other clans and see how all this is working. I cannot participate this time, cause I am visiting Martin in Vienna. But I have played last weekend with the organzising clan and it was really fun. BigBear, Bonzai Benny, Jean Lannes played with me too (when I remember right), so you can ask them too, if you have questons.

To all other members, who have not decided yet and want to participate too (what I really hope!), I will explain how this league works.

The basic idea is, that honourable players come together and play. In order to do that, there will be no quitting allowed, no Siege weapons, no spaming, no exploits etc. A replay of any game will be saved, so you can prove that you really won or that your opponent played unfair ("campers") etc.

At first, we will play some tournement games to let the organizers see how many of the interested people really will participate constantly. After that, they will try to create a league system.

Here the MAIN RULES (of course, you can use and own rule-set with your opponent too!)

Fielded forces to have:

1. No quitting.
2. No Artillery.
3. No spamming. A limit on the number of any given Unit Type determined by funding level, ie. Small funds = 3 Unit Max, Medium funds = 4 Unit Max, Large funds = 5 Unit Max),
4. No exploits. No more than 50% of any Unit Class,
5. Any other limit mutually agreed upon by combatants.

Unit Type: Unique Unit Distinction, eg. Katana Samurai

Unit Class: Categorical Grouping by Class, eg:

* Sword = Loan Swords, Katana Samurai, No Dachi, Katana Hero
* Spear = Yari Ashigari, Yari Samurai, Naganata Samurai, Naganata Monks, Yari Hero
* Cavalry = Light Cavalry, Bow Cavalry, Yari Cavalry, Katana Cavalry & Great Guard (Naganata)
* Ranged = Bow Ashigari, Bow Samurai, Bow Monks, Ashigari Guns, Samurai Guns, Monk Guns, Bow Hero
* Artillery = Bombers, Mangonels, Fire Rockets, Cannon
