Hey im sure everybody about that big group that wants to protest the new game that valve is creating... but i say let them make it
* Significant content for L4D1 was promised, and never delivered

- L4d1 has brought new campian maps FOR FREE so stop complaining.

* Valve put little faith in L4D1 since they almost certainly started working on L4D2 right after release
- ALL game compianies start making a new game when released and some time before it is even released, ask ANY game companiy and they could say it to you up close and personal.

* The fact that L4D2 is nearly identical to L4D1 will decimate the community for both games
- its not identical reason 1- new characters, 2- new AI directory, 3- new guns, 4- new melle system that was NEVER introduced in the first, 5- new maps that are in the daylight, 6- more ways to explore campian maps, 7- no music when the "new" tank comes, 8- new ammo, 9- its in a new place, and 10- it has a small sense of humer but not too much beacuse not everybody has a gun to use so why not pick up a frying pan or two...

* The announced date is not nearly enough time to polish content or make significant gameplay changes
- thats what you have patches for... i mean the new total war had a long time to make and it still isnt that good. just beacuse it took a short time to make it dosnt mean its not good.

* The new character designs seem bland and unappealing so far
- how do you know? have you seen the first concept artists design for the first one and look what happen major change and ill like to see you come up with some.

* L4D2 is too bright to fit in with L4D1's visual aesthetic
- L4D2 is a NEW game and they want to go for a new look. And also its based on the south and why wouldn't you want to see what a zombie looks like in the day time? and plus if there was a zombie invasion would you move in the dark to another place and rest in the daylight it dosent make sense.

* The fiddle-based horde music is extremely disliked, though the differently orchestrated music is otherwise welcome
-how could you call it extremely disliked? i like it its a new feel for the game and it cant just be the same music in both games.

* L4D2's release will result in a drop in quality and frequency for L4D1 content, even compared to before
- what you mean "drop in quality and frequency for L4D1 content, even compared to before"? it was a FREE DLC and they thought they would make a new gamemode. i mean i would rather have the new maps for free anyways so stop complaining and im saying they did a good job and who said they stoped making them it takes time to make new contact.

* The community has lost faith in Valve's former reputation for commitment to their games post-release
- what the heck dose that mean? i think they just need to fill some space in so it dosent look a bit plain..

in conclusion i say let there be L4D2 and those of you who are invoked by them protesting the game why not protests agents the protesters?
