While wardens are a fun class, they are one of the most complicated classes in-game, so I wouldn't reccommend it to a new player. If you're interested in a dps/tank role, I'd go for a champion or hunter. If you're interested in a dps/heal role, I'd go with minstrel (or runekeeper, but they're another very complicated class, according to Turbine, at least). ;) Hope this helps.
