A "Next Car Game: Wreckfest" Community

A community to find nice players and good hosts to wreck some cars with.

All moderators (and Rektor) are hosts, so check them out if you like.

Some hosts will announce when they are hosting in the event section (usually short term, sometimes long term) and maybe add some theme to it (e.g. only car X).

We are also planning on hosting tournaments. Keep an eye on the announcements for that.

We are usually open for input like suggestions and such. Join the discussions or message us directly.

What happend to Noize Shifty: Our side of the story

Heyho,
you may have noticed that Noize Shifty is no longer a part of this group. Since many of you have joined the group because of him I feel we should explain what happend, from our point of view.
Since there are always more sides to a story than just one, dont expect the full story here, but rather what I have experienced. Feel free to reach out to Noize Shifty to hear his side of the story.

About an hour before posting this I recieved a message from Noize Shifty wishing me luck with this group and Aizawa. I checked the group page seeing that he had left the group. He left a note that he would make his own group because he felt disrespected by one of the owners.
I immediatly sent him back a message asking what happend. He responded by deleting me from his steam friends. I reached out to Aizawa to hear what he had to say to the matter.
He told me of a conversation the two had, which led to a point where Noize felt being disrespected by Aizawa. After that we havent heard anything from him (see below why I left out the conversation itself).
Whatever Noize Shifty read from the situation, I can assure you that neither of us (Aizawa, Rektor) ment to disrespect him at any point, but rather do we highly respect him for what we did for this group and the commitment he showed.
I believe that this is a misunderstanding and I am eager to resolve this issue.
We have tried to contact him since, but all attempts were dismissed by him.
I hope that Noize will explain his side at some point, but if he does not we can only wish him luck in his future endeavors.

Why I left out details of the conversation
I dont believe I should share details to the conversation for several reasons: a) to protect the privacy of the two parties b) it doesnt fully cover every aspect of the situation (e.g. the motives like emotions and such) and thereby c) could lead to faulty assumptions.
If you want to know more nevertheless, reach out to the two directly.

The first Rektfest canceled

Hey,
I'm are sorry to announce, that we have decided to cancel the first Rekfest (our tournament), because of an insufficient amount of registrations.

If you couldnt participate because of various reasons, but you generally like the idea of the tournament please leave a comment so we can evaluate if we should make a second attempt at some point in the future.

Hi all, I have a serious issue that needs to be taken care of; there are some people in the game that use FAKE ACCOUNTS, with that I mean people who change their Steamname/Steam profile pic very often (sometimes more than once a day) and also target other players with using the exact same name and profile pic of other (real) members and pretending to be them.
