SCG was informally established early 2011 on Metal Gear Solid Online 2 for the PS3. The unit or clan focused on recruiting players who enjoy the challenges of team play with a heavy emphasis on stealth play style in an online environment. Anybody can join SCG and even form your own unit under the SCG banner, we encourage and promote small squad play that understand stealth and use tactics to their advantage (guerrilla ambush, bate and wait, hit and run, distractions, stealth assassinations of key individuals, distraction of key individuals) In SCG the better you hide the better you are, movement, attacking and hiding unnoticed is what gets you the accolades.

The clan was informally established on the PS3 but after a brief time on MGO2 before the servers shut down, and later on Max payne 3 the clan dissolved when the player base dissipated on consoles, the leader moved on to PC gaming for the most part.

The beauty of SCG is that no matter what game you play if your unit understands the game plan you're set be it Arma, DayZ, GTA, Max Payne 3, Battle field. If you play together you win together, practice practice practice.

PVP Anyone?

SCG has been invited to a PVP match with another clan SU (Solnichny University). Now, i know SCG is not a competitive clan so dont worry about it BUT for those of you in SCG who are interested in some PVP action this event will be available for those of you looking to put your squad up for some communication training. The higher the better (5v5, 8v8, 10v10)

I know the Clan discussion page hasnt been very active, which seems like many of you guys dont have squads yet, or dont know what to do. Send me a messege and i will set you up with a group, dont worry we're here to help!

Welcome to [SCG]

We are a public clan meaning anyone can join SCG. Silent Clan Gaming is made up of many different players who then are able to branch out into little groups or squads. We do not force you to play with other clan members but we do encourage you to meet other players who are also in SCG and play with them. We recruit many play styles (Heroes, Bandits, lonewolfs) so don't be discouraged about joining the community. The Clan as a whole is one big faction you don't have to know everyone and you don't have to be forced to know everyone, you can have your own little circle of friends or create your own little circle through SCG, the key element in SCG is that your little group may one day look for safety and other groups in SCG will come to your aid when needed. SCG is made up of all kinds of players you may be a bandit to strangers but when you run into an SCG player you could be a hero to them. there are no rules per se we leave that up to the Group leaders to cater there own group rules (age limit, skill, play style). You do how ever have to join the Steam Group, and (optionally) join the TS server. We also recommend that you change your ingame DayZ name to [SCG]*whatever* to allow other players to easily find you and your group. If you are a group (squad) leader you are the go-to guy for other group leaders, to avoid miscommunication you need to make sure your DayZ name ID's you as the a leader in your team (a star is suffecient in most cases, but any indication will do). If you are a lone wolf and frequently play as a lone wolf we encourage you to band with other trusting players in what ever server you join it may be hard to do (which is why our Clan server and TS server is there). you can call on other lone wolfs in the TS channel at any time. If you are a lonewolf and no longer want to play alone you can go to our Steam Group and post a group recruitment in the discussion page. We encourage all Group leaders to post there information so that other members can contact them for basic or tactical assistance.
