This is /cbg/s Anno 1602 group. We schedule multiplayer and build cities here.

Guide on how to host MP with a modern OS/System:

1. Grab the IPXWrapper from http://www.solemnwarning.net/ipxwrapper/

2. Move the DLL files in the zip file into your Anno 1602 directory (where you can find the 1602.exe

3. Install the registry keys, 32 or 64 corresponding to your OS, so if you had Windows 7 with 64-bit you'd install the 64-bit key, etc etc

4. Start up the IPXWrapper Configuration

5. Leave Primary Interface as default

6. Pick Wildcard interface under Network adapters

7. Pick Broadcast Port 47624 (this is the only port that worked for us so far)

8. Tick the Automatically create Windows Firewall exceptions box

9. Now start the game while leaving the config open

10. As host, create a new group and pick the IPX option

11. Now everyone has to be connected to the host through Hamachi (basically in a Network with the host)

12. The other players will have to join an existing group by picking the IPX option

13. Wait for everyone to join and start the game!
