"Have an idea of what you're supposed to do before the game starts. When I scrim with my team I make sure there is a clear outlook how every lane should go. I don't see why this can't apply here."

"In my experience (9 yr) I would say that the biggest learning curve is understanding mechanics. You should look at basics and then branch out. ie. Don't stack stuns, how do ult's interact with items, how do spells interact with each other, how does the creep equilibrium work etc."
