We're not going to your waste time attempting to explain or closely define the term immersive sim. You are here because you have your own opinion about immersive sims, and that is a good thing. What we want is to expand both the idea of what an immersive sim can be, and also promote the ideas inherent to immersive sims to a larger audience.

Thus this is an initiative to investigate and deconstruct the immersive sim game design philosophy; to move beyond limiting classifications such a single door code, gameplay mechanic, or genre. By embracing a broader approach, we seek to promote the underlying principles and mechanics that define immersive sims, and explore new gameplay possibilities with engaging and immersive ideas.
