Dear Cache Gangsters,

As we all know, Valve have made two terrible decisions over the last year that have impacted our identity & integrity directly. Firstly on a subjective note, they transformed a very Counter-Strike feeling game which was CSGO and rebranded into CS2, where the classic HUD that has been for decades was changed, buy menu is copied off of Valo and the coloring is straight off of a cartoon.

On an objective note, the map we all loved in CSGO for all these years - Cache was NOT introduced in CS2!!! This was an attack on our community by Valve and they should be held responsible for. Arguably the most fun map whilst keeping it very competitive and one of the rare maps were the game truly felt balanced and it could go either way - CT or T. One of the strongest suits unconsciously to all of us was that the site take on A or B was so well thought of. CTs had about 3-4 angles on each map you could hold and Ts had a lot of options on how to take on a site. It doesn't feel very black and white and predictable as it may be with most other active duty maps.

I'd like to thank everyone for being apart of Cache gang as well as the masterminds behind Cache - original creator Volcano and CSGO version creator FMPONE. Our legacy will live on and in hopes that our lingering spirits will be heard by Valve to reintroduce the map to their newest game... or not - it's quite a ♥♥♥♥♥ game. Maybe it is truly best for our beloved Cache to be associated with a thrilling, fantastic game like CSGO was during all these years.
