The new mode in CS2KZ (Classic KZ) has implemented some changes to the way prestrafing works compared to KZT.

These include the fact that prestrafing is now no longer mouse movement based, but instead momentum based, along with implementing the wallrunning technique (from 1.6).

What this means is that many of the fun and advanced ways to gain prestrafe no longer work, and most importantly, WAD tech, or Ourfather Tech, is no longer possible (the closest thing is W-key prestrafing like you would have in SKZ). Also things such as jumping into a corner to keep your pre no longer work, or things like 'Meow Meow Pre' (commonly known as China Pre) also don't function in the same way.

We argue this change is not popular among many players especially high skill and high tier map running, and makes it less exciting and fun in many situations (such as gaining pre next to a wall where you no longer have to use your mouse and have to do an awkward flick to wallstrafe).
