Since we've reached a critical mass of Arma 3 players within our community, we've often come across the scenario of too many people in the voice chat during events.
Information simply can't be transferred efficiently enough, and it can become almost impossible to have a one-on-one conversation, regardless of topic.

To that end, I'm announcing the addition of Task Force Arrowhead Radio (TFAR) to our Arma 3 modlist.
A lot of people here are unfamiliar with its use, and a lot of people here only have knowledge of its use from playing in other groups, so to standardize future use of it within COX, we're going to be hosting an event called "RadNav," or Radio Navigation.
We'll be navigating the setup of TFAR and navigating its use, and also literally navigating using the radio as a tool.

This will be considered an informally mandatory event. You won't be forced to come, but I would very much like you to come so that we ease into the use of TFAR a little bit better, especially if you've never used it.
If you don't join, and have a headache with TFAR in COX later, it's your fault for not coming now.
While I know this is all a little melodramatic, there's a good amount of complexity with setting TFAR up and also using it, so it necessitates a sort of training day to get everyone on the same page.

We'll start the event by training everyone in TFAR's setup and use, we'll establish a simple radio protocol, and we'll utilize this knowledge within two scenarios; one scenario will be a simple land navigation course where everyone assists each other in getting to a certain point, and the second scenario will be a Capture the Flag PVP event with two teams.

From now on, TFAR will be a soft requirement for playing with us. In events where less than 10 people have joined, we'll stick to Discord VC, but if more than 10 people join, we'll switch to TFAR.
