Who we are
This group is for subscribers of the r/csmapmakers subreddit.

What we do
The primary purpose of the group is to facilitate members in hosting their own or taking part in other peoples map tests. Members can request a time slot on an available server (details below), test their map and receive feedback from other group members.

How it works
To book a map testing slot please follow the below procedure:
  • Join the group
  • Visit the public Calendar[teamup.com] to check if your desired timeslot is available.
  • Create a new discussion leaving the following details:
    • Desired date
    • Time (inc timezone)
    • Requested server
    • URL of your workshop map
    • Your steamID (in the format STEAM_0:X:XXXXXXXX, used for server permissions)
  • The server admin will add your map to the rotation and give you basic admin permissions on the server (change map etc).
  • When the map test starts a steam notification will be sent to all group members.
  • Join the server at the agreed time/date and test, test, test!

Please remember to create the discussion at least a couple of days in advance and read the FAQ.

Long time no see!

Today marks the start of a drive to get an uptick in testing activity within the group.

As such we’ll be hosting a playtest of de_appa on Tuesday 16th February @ 19:30 GMT (20:30 CET/14:30 EST/13:30 CST/11:30 PST) on 185.38.151.110:11451.

It's that time again when I invade your activity feed to tell about upcoming tests (hurrah!), this time is no different.

We'll be play-testing de_mall by Sand @18:00 15th April GMT+1 on 85.236.100.75:27415. Apologies for the short(er) notice for this playtest, my own fault.

Come along if you are free. Attendance is much appreciated.

I've put the map up on the server early for those who want to leave feedback but perhaps can't make the test at the specific time or would just like to have a look around.

I can throw up a mumble server for this test if there is interest. Let me know in the comments.

Anybody knows why if i have several maps uploaded in the workshop, people only can see (in public) one of them? The other can be seen only for friends when login.
