Update from Valve on CS: GO security case

"We have reviewed the leaked code and believe it to be a reposting of a limited CS:GO engine code depot released to partners in late 2017, and originally leaked in 2018. From this review, we have not found any reason for players to be alarmed or avoid the current builds."

SECURITY RISK! VALVE GAMES MIGHT HAVE BEEN COMPROMISED.

Crackers have found a way to INJECT their CODE to EXECUTE REMOTELY via an exploit hole found for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) and Team Fortress 2 (TF2).

Because of that, it is NOT safe to play games such as these, and potentially other multiplayer Valve games.

They can be used to gain access to your computer remotely. The risk is not worth it, think about it.
