Event Horizon CSGO Team

Event Horizon's goal is to bring like-minded players together who want to enter CSGO tournaments. Players on Event Horizon are teamwork oriented, focused, and dedicated to practicing multiple times a week. Event Horizon values a player with a positive outlook and willingness to learn. We believe that skill is easier to develop than personality and are therefore looking for amicable members. We believe these are the pathways to becoming the best players we can be for ourselves and for the team.

Finding new members is a long and selective process. As such, we may take time to get to know you and see how our skills develop together. As much as we value the friends we make in the selection process, Event Horizon will ultimately do what's the best for the team's future. Only the players who consistently exhibit the qualities of an Event Horizon player will make the cut!

CEVO Season 9 2nd Match. Event Horizon V Karbon

Date: Wednesday, January 20th, 7:00pm PST (9:00pm CST)

Server Location: Denver, CO

Thankfully we were able to move the server location from their home town of Chicago, IL, to Denver, CO where we will ping around 40-50.

This won't be an easy one. As such we will be buckling down on practicing 3 maps to better our chances. Queue these maps as much as you can and we will do alright. Our practice on tuesday will cover some more strategies.

CEVO Season 9 First official match review!

Our match was scheduled for 1/12/16 at 7pm PST against Not Impressed. By veto decision we played de_inferno. The final score was 16-9, with Event Horizon winning this important match!

We lost the early game (first 3 rounds). We won the next 3 rounds to tie it 3-3. Following, the rounds were back and forth until 5-5. We managed to tighten up our defenses and win the rest of the half 10-5.

The second half we won the early game rounds (first 3) followed by losing 4 rounds as we let our economy recover from losing round 4. When we finally commit to a full buy we "won out" and finished the game 16-9.

Great game and great performances from all players! All of our players had a K/D ratio greater than 1. I couldn't ask for more from my players and am looking forward to our next match on 1/20/16 at 7:00pm.

I'm very proud of the team's performances so far and hope we can continue to improve and have more great games!
