I had hoped that this group would have some life left in it beyond my departure, but unfortunately it seems like a dead group. I don't have a ton of words to say, just that in the years of history we've had I sincerely hope you all have had a positive experience here, and I am very sad to say goodbye to a group that has had so much lore, so many events and such a lifespan. I had wanted to create a new group - philanthrop/v/, at some point that was more focused on charity overall rather than just vidya, but it seems that time has come and gone.


Anyways, without stretching it out - thank you all for following through this group and the discord's drama, injokes, disorganization and overall just for joining us on this adventure. I hope everyone here has either gotten games or has gotten some hope from the anons helping us out. I love y'all, I wish I could do more for you all.


It's okay, I understand that we've lost alot of both gifters and people that were looking for vidya. I had more than a few people message me in dire straits asking for assistance or support, and I can genuinely say this group saved some lives. Melodramatic as that is.

For being a steam group based on a japanese imageboard, we've done alot of ♥♥♥♥ and I am sincerely and truly thankful for all of you participating and joining us on a journey that lasted far beyond what I ever expected.

Do me a favor - if there's anything you've taken away from your time here - just pay more attention to the people that share your hobby and try to help your fellow man when they need it. That's all.
