The Friendly MIX group!

[ WELCOME ]

This group is based on The Friendly PUG Group that is mostly used in US scene. I 'stole' most of this page from them, so all the credits to them for it. Let's see if we can make the 'old skool' mixes possible again. With fun and more balanced teams.

We focus on playing Left 4 Dead 2 friendly and more communicated mix games among all skill levels. You gain access and stay in this group based on attitude, behavior, and how much fun you have, not by your skill level. To join, please review our rules first, then contact a moderator or admin.

[ GAMES ]

By joining this group we try to make as much events as possible. We try to offer you an unique chance to play different kind of games. To keep the spirit alive we create lobbies that aren’t related to any promod games.

[ HOW IT WORKS ]

When you're on the server everybody goes in spectator mode and 2 captains will be picked. They can play coinflip to decide who to choose first.

Team captain instruction

1. The captain who picks first takes one
2. Then the other captain takes one
3. The captain who picks first takes one
4. Then the other captain takes two
5. The captain who picks first takes last

Mumble

Once the teams has been chosen you go to EMC mumble. This improves your communication in game together with your teammates as team.

In order to maintain this group’s friendly atmosphere, we have an “one strike then you’re out” tolerance policy. If you break the rules, you’ll be warned and we will expect an apologize from you. If you, again, break our rules, you’re out.

[ COMPLAINTS / SOURCEBANS ]

If you've had a problem with a player, make a screenshot or even better a demo! Without that it can't be proven that the other player has had a bad behavior.

[ SERVERS ]

TFMG doesn't provide L4D2 competitive servers in Europe. There are multiple servers that you can use for any games you wish to play, for example EMC or PwG.

If you have any complains about problems on the Servers, please contact the server admins. We don't have access to all server soucebans!

The Friendly Mix Tournament

Mumble is mandatory, but you dont have to speak on it. Just join it and be quiet if your shy, dont know english or whatever other reason you have.

Few more things for the beginning:

1. I made this group to see if there are enough ppl that like to play mixes like in the 'old' days. Having fun on mumble, playing a nice game in a friendly atmosphere;
2. This group is in a 'beta' version and is still under construction, any tips I would like to hear;
3. If you announce in this group, then don't announce in other mix groups;

Also it would be nice to have some 'mentors' who are willing to teach 'new' players how to play the game.
