The Wastelands is a universe of faceless soldiers and officers rotting in the trenches for victory. A victory that the highest ranks do not even think about, receiving a new medal for every 1000 of their killed soldiers. A universe where there are no good and bad, there is only gray morality, and even that sometimes turns out to be smeared in blood and dirt. Where mud is a symbol of life. After all, only being covered in mud, the soldier ceases to be afraid of a machine gun.
