Titan vs. Piter

Piter definitely is a team to be reckoned with, as they destroy the other CIS teams (not the world-tier teams though). Piter definitely has a chance at upsetting Titan, given Titan is on an off day (which is rare), but because of visa issues, Piter is playing with two stand-ins, who are still pretty good. Ub1que has played for dAT before, and hooch has been on top teams when NiP destroyed everything. Seeing how Titan has been playing the last few weeks; I seriously doubt they'll lose this, regardless of map/side first.

My bet: Low on Titan or skip because of odds.

CLG vs. Gamers2

This will be CLG's first European LAN, but from what we know, they are capable of performing decently at LANs. They were famous for that one upset against LDLC, where ptr dropped 34 frags, but it has been made official that ptr is calling, so we probably won't see a performance like that again. Ex-ESC has been playing like complete ♥♥♥♥ recently; but this is a LAN, so they could be refreshed. There's a reason why they made it to the last major, and almost knocked out NiP in the group stages. They definitely have more experience than CLG in tournaments like these. This is probably one of the most 50/50 games, as both teams have proved to be inconsistent at times. Map will be an important factor in this game.

My bet: Low/medium on CLG, mostly off hope/hype.

LGB vs. CW

LGB has proven themselves at the last lan, capable of upsetting or coming close to upsetting all the top teams; meanwhile, CW (ex-unu.AiN) are beasts at Cobblestone and Overpass. Both teams aren't really insane with firepower, but they both have incredibly solid CT sides and holds. I would have to give this match to LGB just based off their last LAN performance.

My bet: Medium on LGB .

Liquid vs. Flipsid3

One thing to note here; s1mple is not playing so DavCost will be standing in for him. He's a decent player, but it's a huge difference in skill and gameplay. In the past, I've noticed Liquid has a weak T side, but in aim overall, I believe they can pick off Flipsid3 (ex-dAT). Let's not forget this is a best of 1, and Liquid does have some LAN experience.

My bet: Medium on Liquid.
