Why do games not list monitors in the recommended specs?
Why does the gaming industry seem obsessed with pushing these "screens" down our throats?


Take for instance "Dan".
Dan bought a new game on Steam. The game cost Dan 60$ and it was very new and he was excited to play it.
Dan works hard all day at a job that requires him to look at things. As such he runs a monitorless system so he doesn't have to look at things while gaming.
Now imagine Dan's dismay when he goes to play his game and he can't because the game has no options for monitorless players.
He loooked at the required specs from his browser at work before purchase and he checked all the boxes; quad core cpu, 3gb gpu, 8gb RAM, Windows 7 or later, and no mention of a monitor.
So now Dan feels pretty dissapointed at this point. He bought a broken and misrepresented product.
Luckily for Dan, Steam has refunds.
Refunds he can't get because he spent 3 hours running the game on a friend's system to try and properly configure it for a non-monitor computer (non monitorr users know all too well about this process).
So Dan bought a product he was told would work, it doesn't, and he was refused a refund.


THIS. IS. FRAUD.

It is offensive, insensitive and abusive towards a whole community of people who just don't want too look while they game.

Steam has taken advantage of us for far too long! I myself have a backlog of over 350 games that I can't play regardless to the 400$ graphics cards these con artists suggested I buy to run the games.

So if you, like us, are a gaming rights advocate and believe that this requirement of monitors is not only burdonsome but a blatant infringement on our civil rights and even our basic rights to human life, then join us and together we will stare indefintely at nothing!
