I am in a Space D&D game as a player, and we are open to new players. We aren't sure what our player limit really is.
Notices: It is very combat heavy, and rounds can take an hour or longer with many ships on the field, but the story is also very prominent. There are reasons we are fighting, in a fleshed out universe, even with fully fleshed out trading routes and such. Our nations are currently at war with old enemies, so there will continue to be a lot of combat (especially as we are each a captain of a military ship, or two).
Also, this game has been going on for almost a year now, so you'd be jumping in with an already leveled ship and not at the beginning of our group's story.
We have regular meetings, currently at 6:00 PM ET every Thursday and Saturday.
The GM can sometimes be a bit... weird... his flavor of things that happen on nat 1s are often very strange, while the rest of the universe is fairly normal.
This is both serious and silly RP, with us witnessing a child be publicly executed by a planetary governor for being the child of rebels (and then the child exploded), and also witnessing a moldy crepe fall out of the ceiling vent when rolling a perfect 100 on damage (which was then eaten by a player's first officer [by command of the player], and their next shot was a nat 20 [the ship has a history of missing most shots], so it is now CANON that the mold will cure space glaucoma).
