Hello everyone and welcome to the SlaughterNauts Championship! This your average Awesomenauts tourney with a simple twist: it is not just for pros. This is an open competition for the community of any skill level. There will be 2 brackets: one for leagues 1 and 2 and one for leagues 3 and 4.. This means that at the end 2 teams will be declared champions. We are currently reviewing our options for prizes for each team. Hopefully we can get some awesome prizes for you guys!


== Rules ==

The tournament will be a best of 3 single elimination bracket setup. No starstorm nauts are allowed, period. The first map played will be random with no bans. The 2nd map will be chosen by the losing team. Each team will pick 1 naut to ban of which neither team can play. The 3rd map (if needed) will be chosen by the loser of Game 2. AI Station 404 cannot be a map pick, however, if it is drawn for Game 1 as a random map it will be played. The bans from the previous game will reset and both teams will choose a naut to ban which neither team can play. At the end of the series, you and the opposing team will need to provide at least 1 screenshot of the final scoreboard and the order of wins written out (ex: Game 1 - TeamA, Game 2 - TeamB, Game 3 - TeamA) sent to [email protected]. Also, a replay of EVERY match is required. Failure to provide these will result in a replay of the series or forfeit. Each team is responsible for getting in contact with their opponents' leaders and to play all of the games required before the given deadline. All leagues will be verified before being placed in a bracket.

== Dates and Times ==

The exact dates and times are at the discretion of the teams competing. The tournament will take place from March 5th - March 20th (Subject to change). It will be a 2 week long tournament to ensure that every team gets to play their series.
