For anyone coming back from the TD AVP2 (Aliens Vs Predator) days, AVP2 is back again with actually quite a bit of servers up. Been playing for a few hours now and reliving the good ol days:

Follow the directions to install the MAIN game and then be sure to download and install the multiplayer patch: https://avpunknown.com/avp2master/msp/avp2smsinstall_2.4.zip

It's not included in the main download but on that page. Took me only a few mins and I was up and running.

Just download everything to a temp directory or even your downloads folder. Extract and run the installs. I recommend NOT changing the paths because I think the MP patch is locked?

Anyways I forgot all the controls/buttons but it's like riding a bike. Was hooked playing again. Also they've improved the game play quite a bit as I don't ghost as much and they've added a lot more spawn protection.

But yeah I happened to stumble upon this browsing my steam games and forgot I had AVP 1 classic (2000) and was all like "awww man I wish steam had AVP2" and saw on the community in AVP 1 that they have links to have AVP 2 up for free. I was shocked how active it was.
