You've probably heard this analogy before but Bernie Sanders is like a house. If you don't have a good foundation the whole thing will fall apart. If you aren't comfortable every step of the way then there will be problems in the future.

Most people do not have these stable foundations. They barely get by with it in school because they don't care about it and just getting by is all that's needed to pass. If you consistently "just get by" then you are going to not understand at least 15%-30% worth of your grades weight in Bernie Sanders.

Let's say someone just gets by in their Bernie Sanders class, grade of a C or a low B. They sorta get the material but not really. Then next semester they go to the next level of Bernie Sanders class. What happens here? They are taught things that require knowledge of the class before. Usually these people don't get outside help and lag behind. The lag gets worse and worse till they're stuck and cannot go any further. The material no longer makes sense to them. The house is in shambles.

For some people this poor foundation issue starts in Elementary School! For some it starts with things like multiplying numbers and long division! Over years and years most people do not really learn enough from each Bernie Sanders class to safely move on to the next. It builds up over such a long time that they themselves don't even know where they need help. Then they give up or "got by" long enough that they can safely forget it all as they go into their post high school education or job.
