Early Access Review
This game is very satisfying. Lots of loot goblin, lots of breaking scrap down (similar but better than Prey), no idea whats even happening im just a bipedal Wall-E recycling everything into nice clean raw materials. With my large sea going vessel im fishing plastic from the oceans and breaking down piles of scrap steel and barrels on various oil rigs and sunken city ruins. (Remembering to plug myself in for a recharge periodically)

I might be saving the fish or awaiting my Eva, but there will for sure be a lot less trash when it happens

Thumbs down but the game is basically solid, and good, and the best AAA fps title out right now. That said its nothing new, Its basically the same game as bf3, so you might as well just play bf4.

There's literally nothing really wrong with it its just not inventive. Also the destruction is a joke, BC2 used to end with maps completely turned to craters and rubble, why even have destruction if you cant destroy?

Camera needs loads of work but so chill, sprint needs to be a diff button (on controller at least) to make jumping while sprinting more intuitive

Great as always, really wish it had more economic simulation and industry/town building but it does what it does very well

Yeah no, at first I was a little miffed I had to remember letters and numbers and a keypad code for every item shelf, but after the first day bought a scanner and it removes having to remember but you can't also carry a flashlight until you unlock a toolbelt.

Thought the game was a spooky mystery not a monster hunting you in a warehouse while you jog your fat lard ass around a warehouse and instantly die because I chose the scanner instead of the flashlight to see.

I guess I just don't "get" scary games, refunded before I gave it a real chance but that death on day 2 was so disappointing I'm never going to play it again anyway

Its an early early playtest (I hope) so it has its fair share of issues. The idea of co-op car mechanic sim is great though.

The inventory is okay now. A few bumps but the improvements good. atrocious and resets to the first page when anyone else adds or takes an item from it. It is the single most infuriating part of gameplay and struggling to choose the correct piece and repeatedly having to unmount wrong parts due to this is horrible.

There should also be some sort of individual inventory as well as a shop inventory/delivery box, and/or maybe allow each repair bay to have its own parts inventory to keep things more organized. Chaos is good, frustration is not. (the inventory labels items by who took them off so its not so bad but needs some QoL as do all EA titles)

The economy is pointless, a lot of these games fail that so no surprise but the money needs to be important. By the time we got bored of the demo we had near 50k and were just selling collected parts to see how much we'd end up with and yes its needed for upgrades and new types of service, but there isn't a daily cost to fight. (last checked there seem to be plans to improve this on the roadmap)

The days are (still) insanely short and you cant even queue an order to go out first thing, Small gripe but possibly an upgrade feature I would imagine.

The organization of the parts catalogue both in the inventory and purchase/order website isn't great but it could be far worse.

The way you take apart the car pieces doesn't make a lot of sense, pieces are part of a hierarchy and some you have to remove for no good reason, taking the entire brake and wheel apart to access the rest of the suspension and drive train is wrong. We already have fairly detailed mechanic sims so skipping over those details is going to hurt, not make gameplay better. (That said you can't access much past the hub in the demo so this is obviously hard to judge)

Every car using spacers is insane, remove that feature asap. Maybe once they add engine work and more detailed repair it'll be forgotten or limited to special and appropriate jobs.

I do look forward to this game and will for sure be giving it another try or buy should it shape into what it promises.
