You don't have to mod to get banned lol. In last "banwave" a lot of legit players got banned (don't complain they were hacking since 90% of mod menus are blocked or were not working). I believe you to cause R* like a company is pretty bad. The game is out for more than 4 years and they still didn't improve their anti-cheat. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Take-Two had to block mod menus cause they are unable to make it better and stop players from cheating.

You got banned cause you are using mods. Good thing they banned you. Rockstar clearly said, modding is illegal. ANY KIND OF MODDING (custom skin cars/custom characters etc). The only thing I hate about this game is the connection speed... extremely slow.

I believe you. I know there are a bunch of people in here who are being rude and are just wanting to make you feel bad, but if you truly are innocent then I am sorry. The same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago. There was a modder in our server and I assume he did stuff to all of our accounts. I used to call up Rockstar customer support to get a look over my account and for modded money to get removed in the rare occurences that it happened, but they have since stopped allowing players to talk to real people. I can guarantee you that most of the people being rude in the comments aren't so innocent themselves in the grand scheme of things, it just hasn't happened to them yet. Best of luck getting unbanned, but sadly there is probably nothing you can do. The customer support system is horrible. You are definetly not alone.

I played with mods on single player, forgot to remove it and got banned when I go online. I even had $18,000,000 in my gta online. But eventually they removed it and left only 20k in it but I purchased all of the money using shark cards. My account was even suppose to receive extra $9,000,000 for buying shark cards during that promo duration where the amount of shark cards you purchase, you get extra 50% after 1 week. I even showed my receipt and they say they will give it back to me. But until now, they never did. I don't blame the game but I blame their service instead. The game is definitely fantastic. Just too much modders online. And freaking flying cars with rockets and ♥♥♥♥♥ kept killing everyone.
