I never want to launch this game again
That being said, it is one of my favorite games. A lot of the players of project moon's other titles the most common perception seems to see them ass a chore to play and unfair. The game is unfair, and there is a massive list of cardinal sins of game designs, like cheap instant kills, the many difficulty spikes sprinkled throughout the games playime, and effectively requiring a resets from day 1, but rather than taking away from the game as a whole they add to it. The narrative of lobotomy corporation is incredible, immersing you in the story of you and the 9 Sepirah in the personalized hell you made called Lobotomy Corporation. Nothing in this game feels pointless, every death, ordeal, suppression, day 1 reset, along with the incredibly well written charcters and story presentation help truly demonstrate the idea that you created this hell and you must go through true suffering over and over to redeem yourself.

While it is an incredible narrative experience, it is important to look at lobotomy corporation as a game which is a heavily inspired SCP game with brutal difficulty made by a small dev studio as a college passion project. There are gamebreaking bugs with certain abnormalities and the game effectively requires a community memory leak fix to prevent the game from slowing down after running for about an hour. The soundtrack, while I enjoy it, may get irritating as there is only 1 idle theme with 4 minor variations that will repeat for about 90% of the games runtime. The experience will be rough around the edges, but none of these factors are truly detrimental to lobotomy corporation as a whole and still lead to an incredible game to experience.

The abnormalities are made extremely well, with over 100 unique and distinct abnormalities with well written and detailed logs and religious mysticism and literary references ingrained into many of them that make each abnormality truly feel distinct, both in story and in gameplay.

I think everyone who is interested in SCP and project moon's titles as a whole should give this game an honest try. It is absolutely not for everyone, but holds an incredibly well crafted story and experience for those persevering enough to see it through to the end. The game will brutally beat you into the floor, and will not lend you a hand to pick yourself back up again, but is an extremely memorable experience that will make you want to come back, no matter how many times it puts you down.
