The game is solid mid to be honest
Not worth your money, maybe on 80-90% discount.
Story in Shadow Generations is awful, and it seems current writers can't do anything with Shadow except slurping on his past games and making him look "Edgy asf". Because in the whole story Shadow adds nothing to it except saying "Waste of time", "Easy", "Boring", etc. Like, why are you even doing it then? It doesn't make any sense.
Also they re-voiced Sonic Generations. I guess they did it because some VA retired, but i've seen that some lines were changed and they didn't even made sense. And VA cast sounds even less commited than in original Sonic Generations.
The whole game is completed in 8 hours only, which is super short unless you go for 100% unlocking everything (Mostly CG arts from past games, music and concepts.) And that's 8 hours with CG, solving puzzles and etc. on your first playthrough.
The gameplay is ok. Levels were quite enjoyable, and new remixes is good (Except Radical Highway because why they made a dubstep out of it???)
In overall looks like a simple cashgrab. Sega can't make good Sonic games anymore.
