Great quick top-down zombie shooter, got it as a part of the steam sale. Its fun for about an hour or two, great for achievement hunters. Have recommended to a friend, its multiplayer is good, however, some funky stuff with VPN's being used that prevents the game from functioning normally with the VPN active. Enjoyed the game non the less. TDLR: Zombies heads go pop and brain release happy chemicals.

These are nice small games, i would recommend playin it.

For a 20+ year old game and starting a franchise that i personally love i cannot say that this wasn't a good game to start the series off! However, what i can say is the game style is vastly different to later fallouts in series with only one other game having a similar play that being fallout 2! While it is less complex and a little lacking in some areas such as content for a first time outing for the series it is quite good! Would recommend the game if its on sale with FO2. As mentioned above the game is different play style to the later games in the series so it might be somewhat of shock or a tricky introduction game play wise!

Buying the standalone version of the game these many years later is tad pointless, I'd recommened getting the G.O.T.Y (Game Of The Year) version of the game as it has all of the DLC's from the start! Apart from this the game is still very good if a little broken in comparison to its G.O.T.Y counterpart. This version of game has issues such as not recording play time and crashing often!
