Early Access Review
With the title being Early Access, I assumed there would be bugs and unpolished mechanics. However, being close to 10 hours in, I am enjoying this RimWorld / Space Haven hybrid.

Does it need some more work? Of course. Fires, for example, were implemented in an odd way. In a civilization that has space travel. the only way they can extinguish fires is to vent entire rooms? It's seems rather punishing for little reason, however, building factory rooms in space or in vented rooms seems to be a nice workaround.

The next issue is the mental breaks and their balance. This would be the biggest gripe I have with the title in its current state. Without warning, a crew member just starts killing everyone else. Once you get to a point where you can regrow them, their morale is instantly tanked due to the blood, bodies, and the need to put down the mentally broken crew member. Don't get me wrong, we need to have those mental breaks to keep it interesting, but they need a bit more thought into their function for balance.

Other than that, the game does a great job at rewarding those that take the time to plan and think out their moves. If you rush into it, it's going to punish you later - which was a pleasant surprise.

With all of this said, I'm having fun with it and can see it only getting better. I would recommend it to anyone that understands that this is an early access title and not a finished game and enjoys the genre. If you are looking for a finished game, with all the features, or you are trying out the genre, you should wait a bit longer.
