Damion, I think I know now why you can't trade properly in Team Fortress 2. You are in possession of a Free-to-Play account. You need a Premium account to be able to give objects while trading. But it is easy to get. There are 2 ways: Get a special item from a friend to get one or buy any object in the Mann Co. Store. The 2nd is the cheaper way, but you have to pay for it yourself.
