An honest, fast paced arena shooter. The best way I can describe it is Halo gunplay with wrist mounted portal guns. No pay to win nonsense either. The stadium ambiance makes it more fun and peppy than the darker more serious vibes other shooters go for. Absolutely no reason not to get into this.

Honestly, I'm not good at writing reviews. This game has become my big hyperfixation. It's the perfect amount of silly and intriguing and the survival aspect isn't really annoying like it is in some other games that try to do this. The devs are clearly very passionate about this game as an artistic project moreso than a monetary product.

Deep Rock Galactic is a 1-4 player online co-op mining themed horde shooter set in the subterranean darkness of an alien planet. Also you are Dwarves.
All mechanically significant content (And the vast majority of cosmetic content) in this game is free, and there is no way to pay money to accelerate your progress. The only microtransactions that exist are one-and-done cosmetic packs that are very well made. The game features season passes that are free for everyone and all items can be obtained by switching your pass to previous seasons. There is no FOMO (Fear of missing out) to be found here.

A simple but engaging multiplayer horror experience. Go into abandoned facilities to scavenge scrap for a dubious corporation. Navigate tight dark corridors with your friends. Run way from horrifying creatures with your friends. Get eaten by giants on your way back to the ship with your friends. Look over your shoulder constantly wondering if you're the last one alive... with your friends!

Slow, boring, and shoves microtransactions in your face.
