Bloober Team really surprised me with Cronos. At first, I wasn’t a fan of the combat since most weapons rely on charge to fire for efficiency, but once I adapted, it became one of the most rewarding systems I’ve experienced in survival horror. The mix of resource management, strategic dismemberment, and the way enemies merge to make powerful foes, makes every encounter feel tense and satisfying. By the end, I went from struggling to feeling like a well trained Polish killing machine.

The story didn’t stick with me, but honestly, very few survival horror stories do. What makes Cronos shine is its gameplay, up there with Dead Space Remake and Resident Evil 4 for pure survival horror excellence.

Verdict: If you’re here for the next Survival Horror this is a strong recommend, Cronos delivers.
