Buying this DLC while in a financially fragile situation probably wasn't the smartest idea.

However I don't care about being smart, I only care about one thing:

THE FACTORY MUST GROW

@Piazano the devs as far as I know said they will not put the game on sale because then the people who bought it off sale would had effectively lost money

I don't think wanting to be properly compensated for the work they've done is arrogant on the dev's part. I think it's arrogant for you to give an opinion on the quality of the game, essentially implying that it isn't good enough to justify the price, without having played it. It's entirely fine if you don't want to spend the money, but at this point it just comes across as ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥-ish, because you're basically saying you know better than the devs, who've proven themselves to be amazing time and time again, in terms of what the game should be priced. You clearly don't have a shortage of money, you're just butthurt because you think you deserve to get the game on sale. You seem like you're one of those people who will buy something that's been marked up, but then goes on "sale" to give it the illusion of saving money. Sometimes, it isn't always about getting a sale price, brother.
