💦 FULL SET: Id/EquivlantExchange - Complete Album!

This game got to much hate when it came out for trying to live up to one of the greatest single player experiences people had slobbed on for years. I don't think it was ever going to please every single person who loved or hated the last of us. Now as this franchise has been repacked like a rehashed nostalgia bait surprise being remastered 5 different times with different versions to buy and a very successful TV show to add onto new people being brought in. There is still something to be said for how great this game was and didn't get the love it deserved for the overworked employees who shelled this out.

Sony has made it very clear and so has naughty dog that this franchise is meant to be run into the ground for money and nothing else. Which is a shame, the amount of work and love put into not only this game but the first is immense, the detail the character arcs, the world and mood and setting is unmatched and the satisfaction of tactical game play is one that people don't talk about enough. I did not love this game when I first played it back in 2020 coming back to it 5 years later I can say the experience here is just as good if not better than the last of us. The story while having some immense timing flaws and rushed character moments, The emotions felt within the scenes needed are there, the fears, the anger, the clash of titans is felt. The dark hell that this game resides in is one that needs to be studied very few experiences also have AI as well placed as this, while they trail the same positions and do the same paths. They are meant to make you fail they are meant to make you think about how to approach your situation with thought and utilisation of the elements and world around you.

I could ramble on about how I've loved to come back to this game after the very mediocre season 2 of the show wrapped up the very tender and crazy well acted moments of this game. I have a very ADHD mindset about these things and cant quite write a thesis of well thought out arguments however. What I want people to walk away with is that you should give this a chance, you should play it and enjoy it because there is a heaping amount of 10/10 design choices, music, dialogue, game play, world design, visual and silent story telling that is poured in this game. It runs beautifully on my machine and many mid grade hardware for a game that should have had a bad launch from console port.

I love this game, I love naughty dog still and believe they can craft amazing experiences that are flawed and arent perfect, but nowhere near as awful as everyone made it out to be. Play this game and enjoy it, there is no other way.
