new update to ue5. This was a downgrade because the game looks the same and the performance has halved.

Bad in game economy that requires micro transactions for premium account and premium vehicles to unlock new vehicles. Not worth playing until in game earnings are increased tenfold and vehicle repair costs are reduced tenfold.

The best turn-based RTS space game ever made. Truly ahead of its time for 2008 in terms of space combat, strategy and mechanics. Highlights are ability to design your own ships, gigantic tech tree, traits and mechanics that are unique to each race and the random grand alien menaces that can spawn in the galaxy. Miles ahead of the failed sequel that was SOTS 2 and deserves a definitive remaster with SOTS 2 level graphics and ship models.

It has a captivating 1930's aesthetic but poor replayability since the open world aspect is lacking. The driving and story is good but the shooting ain't great. Would only buy if on 50% sale or more.

An unrequested patch that came out of nowhere has just destroyed the chat system of Shogun 2 Multiplayer. Me and my fellow players are very unhappy with this change as it makes it more difficult for the community to co-ordinate matches and find similar players. We want the change to be reverted and to have the old system back so we can continue to enjoy Shogun 2's superior multiplayer experience that can not be found elsewhere in the Total War catalogue. :AngrySword::steamthumbsdown:

Good free, easy and intuitive 3D modeling program for making anime avatars for VRChat. Needs better texture editor and cloths mesh editor/importer which are hinted at being added Soon™.

Best flight sim and VR game of the year :tomcat:. Preserves enough realism and depth of modern combat flight simulators like DCS and Falcon 4.0 BMS while still being easy enough to learn though the interactive tutorials to fly without whipping out the le old 700-page manual. No need for a HOTAS since you can use your VR controllers to control the joystick and throttle virtually. Fully interactive cockpit in VR which many flight sims with VR support lack. Every button, lever and screen can be switched in VR. There are also inbuilt voice commands which you can use to order wingman and talk to air traffic control. You can also make you own missions and maps in the mission editor

The Head mounted display (HMD) works ideally in VR especially when virtually linked to the targeting pod to identify ground targets and see through the plane like the F-35’s HMD. Realistic AA radar with simplified cone display. There is no AG radar yet, but the targeting pod and thermal vision is enough to find and identify ground targets desert syndrome style. Realistic weapon, RADAR and targeting pod tracking. Requires electronic warfare to counter hostile SAMs and bogeys like flying low and behind obstacles such as mountains to avoid SAM radar. RADAR is an active sensor so using it reveals your position and the same applies with enemy RADAR which can be detected on your Radar warning receiver. This will make slow paced ticking sound and show the angle and range when being tracked by radar and ear deafening screeching when a radar guided missile is tracking you. Heat seeking missiles are shorter range but passive and only give a warning when launched at you via your aircraft’s thermal sensors. Therefore, unlike radar guided missiles they cannot be tracked on the radar warner receiver and can only be tracked by eye. Choose your stores and hardpoints loadout such as heat seeking/radar guided AA missiles, fire and forgot GPS guided cruise missiles, HARMs (anti radar missiles which track hostile radar signals), Laser guided bombs and much more. If you carry too many weapons and or fuel, fuel tanks, the plane will be too heavy and have reduced flight performance. Therefore, each mission will require a different loadout due to different objectives. There is night missions which favour stealth gameplay where you can fly in canyons to avoid getting spotted and using night vision like as if it is operation desert storm. You can land on carriers and the destroyer escorts will provide air defence and engage hostile ships when in range.

There are 3 planes, 2 of which are VTOL capable and 2 multirole fighters with 1 being both VTOL and a fighter. There is the AV-42C Kestrel which is a VTOL troop carrier and CAS like the V-22 Osprey but jet powered. The first and my favourite fighter is the F/A-26B which is like an F-18/F-15 hybrid. This a more-old school 1980’s top gun fighter jet that has strengths in speed and firepower. The second fighter, the F-45A is also capable of VTOL and is based on the F-35 stealth fighter being a more high-tech fighter with a touch screen interface and solid state radar which can simultaneously track multiple targets unlike the F/A-26B’s older swivel radar. The F-45A cannot carry as much and is slower than the F/A-26 due to its stealth design. The F-45A is to be used more strategically with stand of weapons and keeping your distance from hostile SAMs and fighters to take advantage of your stealth to avoid getting targeted. All weapons on the fighter should be kept internally to not compromise your stealth ability. They do not tell you this in the tutorials and it took me a while to figure out, but if your aircrafts thrust to weight is equal to or greater than 1.0 you cannot VTOL.

Only con is the games optimisation (particularly for AMD graphics). The game only uses one CPU thread, and this causes my ryzen 7 3700x to bottleneck my 5700 xt. When there is lots of activity my GPU is underutilised and my rift S drops to half its refresh rate to 40 FPS :ALgrrremoji:. There is also no clouds and multiplayer support without mods which are said to be added soon™. Also a fully dynamic campaign like Falcon 4.0 BMS would provide more depth then pre-defined missions.

I brought this because I couldn't find a working cracked version and my trial had ran out.
