not very good lots of ai bs and very very underbaked game

very long game very fun on a first time playthrough but really not as fun on repeat visits esploring the world is alot of fun the first time but becomes incredibly tedious on repeat playthroughs especially if u want to get everything it took me about 350 hours my first playthrough to go through and get everything which is alot of time for a souls game i could of gotten to max ng+ and then some in any other souls game in less then that time this game havnt even started ng+ yet still trying to finish the dlc for a souls game pretty disapointing imo but overall good game

as big as an ocean but as deep as a puddle sadly this dlc has more open areas with absolutely nothing in them then the base game which is incredibly saddening when u realize this dlc is alot smaller then the base game u would think the content would be more condensed and more quality over quantity but sadly just like the base game it is not i really like the first couple of dungeons for them being longer more interesting dungeons but once you've played 1 ice cave dungeon youve played them all they are practially identical apart from the boss at the end very big disapointment of a dlc i'd rather play dark souls 2 then play this dlc ever again and i hate darksouls 2 but it has variety and some depth this dlc does not the best thing about this dlc is the main bosses they absoluetely slap as usual if u think the base game is too long and tedious and kinda noying to go through and do everything in like i did dont get this dlc its more of the same but i'd argue worse in some aspects

ok so this game starts off really good the first third of the game is fantastic but them the game drastically goes down from there when u start to realize that all the enmies they introduced ( which isnt alot) at the first third of the game are all u will encounter throughout the whole game and then theres also the "bosses" and the actuall unique bosses the "bosses" are the more common bosses in the game u fight which are just normal enemies with a boss health bar and thats it no special moves or anything pretty lame if u ask me also i love the idea of the whole metroid vania exploration stuff with having to revist areas youve already been in again but with new power and abilities and stuff but this game does it so bad never have i ever feelt so punished for exploring in a game most the time theres like 1-5 bits u can use prvious abilities on and alotta the time its just a couple of items and most of those items where just normal consumables like the soul items and ♥♥♥♥ no special weapons or the thing to upgrade my heals i wasted so much time backtracking through levels trying to make sure i got everything and when i did get those couple of hidden items or items that required abilities u get later it was just trash items what a waste of time i ended up going from i wanna get everything in this game to just literally running past everything in the final two areas of the game also why cant we have an actual map in the game that shows the geometry and ♥♥♥♥ the amount of times i got lost backtracking is obsured but no instead we get a stupid overworld map that just shows u all the main areas but not actually a map so dumb. the bosses in this the actual unique bosses are really cool and interesting design wise but the fights where pathetic every single one baring the final boss i killed first try and the only reason i didnt kill the final one first try was bc i stopped paying attention and when i did and needed to heal the boss did a 3 hit combo but whatever most of the bosses are so pathetically easy especially combined with the fact u get near infinite of them minor healing potions in the game i was using them contantly and i always was getting more then i was using and u can buy them for dirt cheap at the vendor thing its so dumb bc of that u never run out of heals and every boss is easy af i didnt even dodge most attacks bosses did i just went behind them and kept hitting them over and over and over again and most bosses would only hit me occasionally so then i would just use 1 of my infinte ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minor healing potions and when i was attacking i would the infinite stamina potion which is unnesesarilly strong i used 1 for every boss it should just make ur stamina get drained less when doing actions or recharge faster or with a shorter delay like the actual souls games but no infnite stamina for like 20 seconds that fair and balanced so dumb i havnt even brought up the fact that the levels when trying to get everything are waaay too big and most enemies u dont even have to kill u can run past everything without consequences even thymesia had consequences for doing that and at least occasionally made u fight some enemies to get a key to progress i think that only happenes once in this whole game. the weapons are seriously dumb u spent the first half of the game using the same weapon bc i went with dex and most of the weapons where strength scalling so couldnt use them well or whatever i got punished so hard for using dex and by the time the game started giving me more dex weapons i started leveling strength to test some trength weapons and so many of the weapons are just the same they have exactly the same moveset just have different scaling and damage output dex weapons had this as a thing too but not as badly theres so many weapons that have the same moveset its rediculas i think in total theres 6-8 unique movesets in the game its pretty pathetic theres loads of weapons but they just reskins basically also ive found alot of the weapons are really janky to use like u try to attack more then once and it just eats ur imputs and it wasnt an issue with my controller bc some weapons work perfectly and others are jank like i just said most of them where jank from what i tested tho which is really unfortunate im never playing this game again the game is filled with way to much filler content filler enemies, filler, "bosses", filler movesets and weapons and the story is boring af i skipped through all the dialog towards the second half of the game and when u do that it only skips that senence they say so i had to mash the b button to skip dialog and oh boy from all the amount i had to skip it wouldnt added maybe another like 3-5 hours onto my play time if i had listed to everything and im glad i didnt ♥♥♥♥ game dont recommend

WOW what a disaspointment i mean it has alot of good from this like the combat is fantastic and level design is great enemy design (except for the last one) and asethetic of the areas is great but holly ♥♥♥♥ does this game fall really flat with all the bs the bosses do in this game, the bosses rarely let u hit them in their openings and sometimes if the bosses feel like it they will just do the same attack combo again right after doing it or another attack meaning u cant attack them back wich is really important in this game with the whole they heal all the health back if i dont hit them in a while i found i had to constantly hit bosses with my feather so they wouldnt heal while they where doing a 9 hit combo and sometimes more bc they chain their attacks together its so dumb also the first boss in the game is unreasnabley hard and im not ♥♥♥♥ at ds games it was equivelant of fighting lady maria as the first boss like wtf where they thinking theres another boss that is option bear in mind but still really unfair in the third area of the game that boss can ♥♥♥♥ right off unreasonabley hard and just wouldnt consistantly let me hit her it was so bs not to mention the most spamming boss ive ever seen in a game i 100% would never recommend this game i got all the achievements and now im never playing this ever again total trash dont waste ur time its a real shame if they fixed those problems with the bosses and thew fact this game doesnt have ng+ then this game would be pretty good and i wold replay it but its not like that so yeah dont get this get lies of p instead i havnt even played that but i can guarentee thats 10X better then this ♥♥♥♥

this is hands down the worst souls game by ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ far this game ive tried giving another chance many times and everytime i fall into the trap of this game it looks good on a surface level but its just compleletly ass level design (for the most part) is super horrible in this game the game is like 40% longer then other souls likes and its all just filler thats not even including the 3 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dlcs which i think are the best part of the game by far but still arnt that great this game is super clunky and even rolling feels horrible in this also aprently the devs didnt understand why people liked the souls games in the first place so they thought souls=difficult but they failed to understand that filling every area with 10 million enemies isnt the same as balancing the game and making hard in a fun way filling every room with millions of enemies and overwhelming the player while also making most weaons useless isnt how u make a game hard in a good way but thats what they thought i guess this should of never gotten a re-release typea thing this game shoulda stayed in the ground ♥♥♥♥ u devs u bring shame on Hidetaka Miyazaki's work this game is a stain on an otherwise perfect series
