I want to give it a thumbs up, but the timed exclusive content of the expeditions, even with reduxes just piss me the %$#@ off! As a collector, I can't even get into it for this reason. Timed exclusives is bull%$#@!

Used to work, but just crashes after login now. A known issue they'll never fix. Avoid this one, especially on Steamdeck.

I play on Steamdeck and there is NO CUTSCENES, and there's NO SUPPORT! This is single-handedly keeping me from jumping into this game and universe! Sad. =(

Early Access Review
Look, I'm going to keep it fast and real alright? Long time DRG fan, this came as a surprise! At first, it was a GOOD game. Good fun but limited replayability past a certain point that came too soon. THEN they added the most recent patches and they kind of 'added a breath of fresh air' to everything, you know? And now it's a GREAT game! At the point of writing after the 3rd major update, I'm really looking forward to getting more out of BOSCO's future firmware updates. Management has been low-balling the hard working fella for long enough! 8/10 game that is easily going to turn into 9/10 with future updates or maybe even a 10... Man, Karl knows what they'll dream up for the future of this kind of unexpected offshoot. I love it!

From the first day I started playing almost 900 hours ago, I tried to be patient. I wanted the game to get better so I could write a glowing review of this title I want to love so much! For every step forward this 'team' would take, they would consistently take two steps back. After a while, I started to feel like a lab rat in a sick social experiment, or like a vault dweller in a Vault-Tec facility. But you had to go and add insult to repeated injury by nerfing fire just before a fire-themed update and subsequent warbond release? FOR REAL?! Just... stop... It's disgusting now. NO, I don't recommend this game, on moral principal alone for that's my right! Shesh...

Update: 1500+ hrs in... Arrowhead still does shady sh!t and there's too many performance problems for how long this game has been out. Illuminate are in now but they are far more frustrating (in the bad way) than all other factions. Play on controller? Check out these jetpack dudes you just can't hit before they make you pull your @#$%ing hair out! Go to hell Arrowhead, I'm sick of your questionable motives to suck off Sony for money and dumping on your players, to make it 'right' somehow till you can shaft your playerbase all over again. Enough!

When I was a kid, I got my hands on a PlayStation One demo disc from a gaming magazine, and on that disc was a demo of the very first Armored Core released by From Software. I was in mecha heaven! I can't really say more that many here haven't already said. The customization is second to none, and it's obvious that From Software have applied their pedigree and years of successful Dark Souls-like games development into revitalizing the Armored Core series. Look... my hats off to the devs. They made me one very happy mecha fan!
