Detroit: Become Human is literally one of those games that truly was way ahead of its time. Not only is it fun to play, it's deep, it's emotional, and it makes you think. From the very beginning, it pulls you into a world that appears and feels so real due to the completely unbelievable level of graphics detail. The characters are like, real-like, the worlds are beautiful, and the manner in which everything moves and transpires just feels like watching a movie where you have the ability to make the decisions.

The story is what truly makes the game unique. It speaks of some quite heavy subject matter such as artificial intelligence, free will, and truly what it means to be human. You're not actually just spamming the controller button, you're actually making real decisions that shape what's going on in the story. And those decisions matter. Even the small ones have a huge impact on how things turn out. That makes the game so much richer because you actually do feel like your actions have weight. One of my favorite things about the game is the choice system. It's absolutely sick and gives you hundreds of ways to play. You can be kind, vicious, bold, scared it's all up to you. And depending on your decision, the game branches off into different directions and results in all types of endings. It makes you wish to replay it just to find out what other things might have happened. The voice acting is top-notch as well. Every character sounds real and emotional. The music does that too it's powerful and fitting for the atmosphere, whether it's a calm scene or something dark. The whole game feels like a movie, like you're there standing in the middle of all that action. But what really sticks with you after playing is the way it makes you think. These androids, these "nothing but wires and code", start to question who they are, what they are for, and whether or not they deserve freedom like human beings. And as a player, you can't help but wonder too if we're all made up of atoms, and we're conscious, then why can't something made of ones and zeros possibly feel the same? Where do we draw the line between man and machine?

If you're a fan of tech, decision making, or simply a person who likes games where your choices matter, Detroit: Become Human is 100% worth experiencing. It's one of those games that gets stuck in your brain long after you finish it.
