Honestly the whole system with how to have Daniel turn out right is completely messed up and should have been broken down better in the game instead of in a YouTube video right before episode 5 came out. The game pales in comparison to the first in terms of making you feel anything for the characters outside of Sean. The music, however, is still up to par with the first and allows for beautiful scenes; until you step away from there and continue to have those scenes few and far between. The story has so many issues where the whole point of them running away is just clustered and makes no sense if you think about it, especially when Sean figures out Daniel has power later in the first episode. Now Sean as a whole I loved throughout the entire game and really felt his struggle, but with how the game presents the information of shaping Daniel that ended up making me try to balance Morality and Brotherhood and that caused both to end up low screwing over the later points of the story because I wanted to be there for him as a brother and teach him right at the same time.

This is a bit of a spoiler for episode 5: If you're curious about certain events after Life is Strange 1, then I can recommend making it this far at least as it gives some clarity depending on which route you went.

I recommend taking my opinion with a grain of salt, because I only played through once and saw both outcomes of my ultimatum choice you might experience a much better story than I did, however I can state that I disliked a large portion of the game, specifically dealing with Daniel and how the story progressed because of this, and that is why I am not playing through again and additionally why my opinion is as such.
