I actually think BO7 is the best COD we've had on the new engine (since MW 2019). Tac sprint is only accessed by sacrificing a perk (so its rarely used), there's no doors, lobbies don't disband after every match, the maps and weapons actually feel good again (finally), and the universal camos unlocked from weapon prestiges are a really nice addition (especially since a lot of them are BO2 camos). I feel as though BO7 is just a modernized recreation of BO2 in many ways. I'll still always prefer COD's golden era (COD4, WaW, MW2, BO1/2), and I think Activision is missing out on easy money by not remastering them, but this is the first COD in a while I actually enjoy.

Now that it has Fujimi Kaido and the Nürburgring Nordschleife, I'd say its worth buying. Fujimi is gorgeous and the Nordschleife is quite well done too. The weather/time options are nice, and overall the game runs smoothly on ultrawide (3440x1440) with an RTX 3080. Otherwise, its pretty generic Forza Motorsport, not spectacular in any way really, but the 2 tracks I mentioned do a lot of heavy lifting, for me at least.

Was interested in the PVP side, always looking for a good FPS. After a few hours I finally unlocked the Crucible, only to realize within 2 minutes that I drastically underestimated how meta-heavy it is, got off, and uninstalled. Not quite interested in playing a FPS where everyone in the lobby is using the same weapon because nothing else can compete with it. I knew the PVP wasn't a "balanced" experience going into it, but didn't think it was THAT bad.

Early Access Review
Overall really enjoyable. Its a unique experience, something that actually makes a survival-based game feel fresh for once. The graphic style & UI elements really suit the time period the game is set in too, it just feels right. For anyone considering this game, just try it, I don't think the trailers get anywhere close to portraying the full experience.

Edit after finishing the game: Still definitely recommend it, and there's a lot more content now after the full release. As you approach the end game, it gets a little stale in my opinion, but the vast majority of the game is great, very unique, and memorable.

Played this game a lot back in its beta days, recently got back into it and I enjoy it just as much as I did back then! Of course now just with a lot more content.

Side note: The amount of hours listed upon this review does not reflect the at least 100+ extra I had before it was ever available on Steam.

Thought it would be hard to follow in the footsteps of the original Dying Light, but Dying Light 2 did it, and did it well. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a rich storyline experience with plenty of exploration & parkour, all while killing loads of zombies.

Seeing all the negative reviews has prompted me to leave this:

In all honesty, I purchased this game for the "Playgrounds" feature and was actually surprised to see the scale of some of these maps. The trailer for Playgrounds made it seem small and fairly unexciting, but it is far from that. The creative freedom that Playgrounds gives will certainly allow for hours of extra content as members of the community continue making courses (as will I).

In terms of the physics that I see many people complain about, I don't see any issue. I have played many Dirt and Dirt Rally titles (including Dirt Rally 2.0) and I've never really understood the massive differences in physics that many people discuss. I can pickup and play either title with all assists off and have a blast, its just good. Within the first hour of playing, I uploaded 2 videos on YouTube to showcase both the really fun/creative maps in Playgrounds and what the driving looks/feels like (cockpit view, no HUD). I had no intentions of doing this, but felt compelled to as the game seemed totally opposite from the negative reviews I read.

I haven't played through the career much so I can't comment on that, but another topic I've seen many complaints about is optimization/stability. I was a bit hesitant with all the crashes n such that were being reported in reviews, but again I have not experienced any of that. My game has not crashed once, its been really smooth and the graphics look great, I will leave a few of my PC specs at the bottom in case anyone is curious.

Bottom line, if you are a fan of the Dirt games, at least give it a shot with an open mind, don't let the negative reviews scare you away. I may only have 83 minutes of play time at the time of this review, but I'm confident that will go up, I just wanted to make sure I get this in early so that more people can see it. Feel free to add me if you have any questions or want the links to my videos.
