Definitely not recommending it, I only bought this since it's 80% off. MyCareer has never been the same anymore for the past 6 years.

Everything you do in MyCareer revolves around VC.

Need clothes? VC
Need temporary boosts to stats? VC
You want to upgrade your player's stats instead of grinding? No problem! VC
Quests are too tedious for you? That's okay, you can buy VC!
Not earning enough VC in your NBA games and want to upgrade your MyPlayer to 85 OVR? VC my friend.
Aww you bought the All-Star version of the game but the entire build just to get to 85 OVR will cost your 189K-190K VC? You guessed it, just buy the extra 80K-90K through VC! Oh and we only sell 200K VC within that range to make sure you have some left over. (Screw you 2K)
Too broke? Ah don't worry about it, take out a loan and buy more VC! (I'm obviously joking but a friend of mine did this, anyone with a sane mind wouldn't take a loan out just to buy VC)

TLDR:
Everything is being monetized, designed to milk your money, Take Two and its Publisher 2K learned the ways of EA. If you wanted to buy the game so you can play Quick Play with friends on a night out with the boys then this is fine. Just don't touch MyCareer, I still play it but I ain't spending another dime on VC.

Still no Harem route after all these years Pixel Fade but I still recommend.

Don't let my hours fool you from reading my review. I've played a lot of hours of UiTC off from Steam.

What I can say is that it's inspired by Insexity with its own unique twist, archetypes. It's like Insexity with RPG elements mixed to it with a die/RNG system for certain stats.

Just try the game yourself. Oh, and the protag is fully customizable. So of course I made her look like a sl*t! Look at my name ffs.

Remember Game Dev Story on your mobile phone back in 2017? Man, those were the days, glad that there's this one on PC.

Aw hell naw, I ain't playing C*nt Wars with AI Visuals. It's literally the same game and concept as C*nt Wars, better off playing CW instead. Uninstalled after 0.1 hrs of me playing this.

Waiting on Build 42 for zombies to kill my dog so I can pretend to be John Wick and kill all the zombies.
