This is the first Telltale game I've ever played and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ its good.
I don't know how well it fares compared to the Fables comics since I haven't read them, but the worldbuilding is pretty good and I actually felt I could understand the characters. What drags it down a bit, though, is that i feel it could've been an hour or 2 longer to interconnect some plot points better. Other than that it's a really solid game.
