Really good ridiculous ties simulator.

The world is a great mashup of Black Mesa and the SCP foundation. Exploration, story, crafting is all fun, but on standard settings the game gets pretty grindy later on for a few specific resources and also skill XP. Even with a +20% XP gain talent I still finished a 70 hour playthrough with only one skill at max level.

Just an all-around incredibly solid co-op game. Good game, good community, good devs.

PSN ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ aside, this game is probably the most unstable big budget game I've ever played. In 50 hours of this I've had more crashes than in 300 hours of vanilla Fallout 4 and 150 hours of modded Skyrim put together. Not to mention all the bugs, both minor, major and gamebreaking. It's been multiple times that I've sat down with some friends to play, and after 30 minutes we've just given up on the game because we crashed too much or because some bug prevented us from finishing the mission.

Genuinely one of the most atmospheric games I've ever played. Had to work through a fair bit of technical issues in the beginning, but it was worth it.

Super sweet cyberninja action. The movement, parkour and combat all feel great, with music to match. The game can be fairly difficult, but the checkpoints are plentiful and respawning is pretty much instant, so you can easily throw yourself at a problem over and over until you finally nail it.
The environments are grandiose and pretty cool if you're into gritty industrial sci-fi megacities.
The only bad part of the game are the cybervoid puzzle sections, but those were completely missing from the DLC and I hope that means they won't be in the sequel, either.

Probably the greatest Half Life 2 mod out there. It's practically a full game in itself, long campaign, fun new mechanics, ambitious story (without trying to do too much), nice voice acting, all for free. The only thing I didn't like was the APC part, but meh vehicle sections seem like a Half Life tradition at this point.
I recommend playing the original first.

A solid core of enjoyable gameplay and combat buried underneath horrible performance, instability, questionable design choices and sketchy business decisions.
Also it's not even finished.

This game is 1/4 sloooowly panning around a room looking for a specific spot on the wall to click on, 1/4 trying to navigate the station with floaty controls and the narrowest FOV you've ever seen in a game, 1/4 quicktime event and 1/4 cutscene
It's an absolute chore to play and it seems to actively fight your chances of enjoyment at every step

Superliminal feels like a mix of Portal and The Stanley Parable. The premise had a ton of potential and I believe the developers succeeded in living up to it.

This game is a good game.
