It's a fun parkour goblin game.
It's a lot of fun to play with friends and randoms alike for playing glorified goblin tag!
There are also single player challenge maps that are fun to go through.
Most importantly unlockable cosmetics are in the game!
Nothing better than a fabulous gobbo.
It's a fun game to play with others if you have some cash lying around.

I really love this dlc aesthetically and thematically. Having a nice pon sink makes me feel more inclined to collect them. I love the multiplayer and I am grateful they are as fast as they are for bug fixes.

However, there is one problem in nyakuza: there are way too many kill zones.
(To clarify, a kill zone is an area that deals damage to you and forces you to respawn.) Now kill zones are necessary in a lot of areas but I feel really bound to set paths for a "free roam" level. There are lots of areas where you'd think you can drop down to get to where you need to go (sometimes you need to backtrack quickly) and when you're falling you just die for no reason. Even if it wasn't a height that should have been deadly. For some of the train sections I can understand why they're in place, but imo it kinda kills exploring alternate solutions in some areas.

The main reason I had to make this review is because of one part in particular in pink paw station. There is a part where you hookshot onto two dweller platforms and climb up to a T path with rumbas on both sides. I'm done exploring the area and want to go back so I think ok I can jump off and hookshot... to instantly die. I'm like "ok clearly I can't drop down over there for some reason guess I have to go the long way via dweller platforms. Nope you instantly die before you can even reach the platform. It's a major problem that inhibits the "free roam" goal while reducing possible solutions.
I still recommend this dlc due to the amount of extra content you get, but I hope that gears for breakfast would fix all the kill zones. I'd really rather not have to go to hub to leave an area I just got to because bad killzone placement.
