I want to enjoy this game. Truly I do. It was my most anticipated game earlier this year but after another string of updates, the optimization support just isn't there. I have frequently seen "Fatal D3D Error" instances happening and from what I see, there is no guaranteed or easy fix. This game is good, hell its one of the best Monster Hunter stories out there. The music, the monsters, the feel of the game is perfect but none of that matters if you can't play the game. If you're thinking of playing it, play it on either Xbox or PS as I don't think consoles have the same issues. Honestly, a huge shame. Here's hoping it will get better eventually.

Cannot recommend this game enough. Awesome dev team that listens and responds to player feedback, always improving and adding new content. the gunplay is great with hundreds of different build opportunities. Best of all, its just pure fun.

While i would say im not good at this game (still have not gotten 1 completion) this is a fantastic game. Not perfect but still very, very good. The art design, characters, music, and premise are all hilarious and great.
My only real complaint stems from the genre of the game as every single run starts off the same way, fighting the first same boss every time. On top of this, the beginning of the run starts the same with no immediate items or upgrades until a few floors down.
My biggest gripe however is how punishing the game is when it comes to health management as healing is very sparse and when you do get something that heals you, it usually amounts to very little unless you try and stockpile it for later.
Despite the issues and annoyances, the game is difficult, fun, and a blast to play, i just wish there were a couple tweaks here and there to really make this game perfect.

Very fun and cutsey little metroidvania. very open-ended in terms of letting you explore. a few minro things here and ther but otherwise a great game!
