Have well over 1500hrs from before it launched on steam and this is easily the best action combat gacha game at the moment.
- Kuro has stepped up their game with every update and keep outdoing themselves. They listen to feedback a lot more that other gacha devs (cough Hoyo cough) and implement highly requested quality of life features in just an update or 2 instead of 4 patches down the line like other devs.
- The character designs get better and better without looking out of place and are a lot more detailed than most anime style games.
- The exploration is easy, fun, not frustratingly slow, and very rewarding.
- The story quests really picked up in quality around 2.8, they started animating faces a lot more (even though they already had the most expressive dialogue scenes in the space) and doing new camera angles to keep you interested while characters talk instead of doing dialogue visual novel style like most other gacha games (cough Hoyo cough). Without spoiling anything, the story quest for 3.1 especially just hits completely different from all the other quests and has a lot more 'human' interactions and emotional depth than the previous Isekai-like plotlines.
- The combat is probably my favorite aspect of the game aside from the story. It's fast and, at times, visually stunning. It's hard to write a description for how combat feels in games but in my opinion it feels incredible. It has a massive skill ceiling while having a pretty forgiving skill floor. There is a little bit of power creep from 1.0 to now but its only about +15%, nowhere near the level of games like Genshin and HSR (at least for now, time will tell)

I could go on and on about the amazing experience that is this game but here's some negatives.
- Zani's "Ember" stacks not counting as a "Negative Status" means she cant be used to the same level as other 2.x teams. If this kind of interaction carries into other characters as a way to 'nerf' certain team comps then it will be a problem. But for now its just Zani and they may have 'learned their lesson' so to speak when the community voiced their dislike for how her kit was treated.
- The 3rd person camera is sometimes very disorienting during high intensity combat and is easily the most annoying thing in the game for me. Some characters have skills that push the camera closer to the character for visual effect and then don't push it back out to the distance it was at. Cartethyia is especially annoying because it happens on her auto chain. This means that to keep a good view of the field I'm forced to manually zoom out very often in combat.
-The optimization could certainly use some work, especially Lahai Roi. I'm on a 3080 and 13700k and the fact that I cant max out my settings without dropping to 30fps in Startorch Academy is very concerning for future areas.
-The game is getting quite large, sitting at 134GB on my drive at the moment. While this isnt really an issue for me or anyone I've talked to, I recognize that a lot of people cant swing the now ridiculous cost of a new SSD.
-Not really a negative but more of a personal complaint. I wish co-op was a bigger part of the game. As it stands you can't do weekly bosses in co-op and a lot of exploration stuff including puzzles, doors, and NPCs can't be interacted with in co-op for seemingly no reason.
