I haven't seen many breakout games on Steam, but this is one of them, and done decently well. Graphics are NES-like but they do the job. Instead of just breaking bricks, there are also enemies on screen you must hit and clear to advance to the next stage. The 'world' map is really counter-intuitive though - each mark is like a world of stages rather than one stage, so you have to get through a chunk of stages just to save your spot.

Like others mention the RPG element is minimal and they could have done more with that. So with that in mind, this game is pretty much nothing but breakout. If you like those games you will like this one. Otherwise, it will get tedious like any breakout game.

I finished the game but I don't remember much of it other than the above. Seeing as it was that memorable, I guess I can't recommend it.
