It doesn't fix the build overall either, there is still no clear vision of what skill 4 is supposed to do in the kit versus going melee with skill 3.

The devs are clueless about balance and the only thing the game has is okay story bits, repeated "kill 250 enemies and move" dungeon spamming and skins.

If I only play your game for skins, your game is called Azur Lane. I don't need TFD for that. Taking my money elsewhere and leaving feedback here. Tbh buying the D2R Warlock DLC is worth more than a dress skin anyway.

This could be an amazing game in its category. But unfortunately I am going to have to refund this and urge anyone reading to not buy this. The game has been out since November 2025 and even 2-3 month later one of the main components of a game like this, the writing/text, is in an unacceptable state. This should have never been shipped like this or should have been fixed within a month.

The voiceover is not great but whatever. But the text is just full of errors. Spelling errors (the very first textbox has a spelling error), programming code / parameters showing up in the textboxes. Mismatched text to what is being said by the voiceover.

It is just not okay. I liked the first game well enough but this isn't anywhere near passable.

It is a shame, a real shame, as the game itself has so much potential, the script/writing IS funny and the lore and internal logic is just great and very entertaining.

But the devs need to be held to at least bare minimum standards here. This game was not in a release state when they did and still isn't. This is a 0.9 and for no reason they didn't do the last QA pass to make sure it's ready as a product. I don't understand why.

The delevoper has abandoned the game after over a year of 'waiting us out'. False promises about intending to finish the 1.0 version with nothing to show for it after al this time. All they had to do, is finish the content that is there. No one asked for more stages or characters, we only wanted what was there to be 'done'. Instead of hiring an artist and doing one small bugfix/balance pass over they choose to do nothing and then announce they wont finish it, after over a year of no updates.

I'm refunding, so should you. Do not buy.

I knew about the difficulty setting and that you can't change it to legendary unless you start with it. I knew before starting the game.

The option never showed up. There was options for how much exploration guidance you want, control scheme. Nothing about difficulty I am 100% sure on this.

Now my account is screwed up, stuck with expert or lower difficulty. No way to change it, no way to reset the save or start over.

And no, I am not making a new account. The devs literally going "just make a new account" is so tonedeaf and spiteful. Enjoy your negative review until you fix the most basic element of your game. Deleting your save if you messed up. This is a joke.

8/10 Game but only because the card translations are sometimes misleading. If they can iron out those it's easily a 9/10 game.

Very good deckbuilding and roguelite elements, Very high quality art and cultured tastes and scenarios. AND it's a lot of content, story, h-scenes for that price tag too. Plus a really well animated intro cutscene.

2025 is off to a good start.

As someone who only had Subverse on their radar this year, Aurelia is a pleasant surprise. It is for sure just as good. Both games should be battling for the #1 spot on anyone list of adult games this year. The one thing this game does better imho are the scenarios and writing. The gameplay is varied and has old school vibes yes, but how the scenes play out and how the MC adapts is just amazing. You get a bit of everything in terms of dynamics, kinks and it's all well done. The early animations are a bit short and there is no voice acting, but when you look at the ingame journal and realize just how many romance options and scenes there are.

Let's just say I'll be fishing to buy lavish gifts with pleasure. The story that unfolds so far is also interesting. Will update once done.

Update: The game has numerous game breaking progression bugs, bugs than can be exploited for infinite EXP gain. Spelling mistakes, and achievements or even story elements that will not work or break.

It is unfortunate, but I have to edit this review to negative and if I could still refund the game I would. The developer banned me from the Discord as well, without warning or even a message. Because I said the writing is really good but the mistakes that are still there are annoying and that their editor did a poor job.

Which is factual and true. When characters are talking and lines are attributed to the wrong person or names are mixed up, that is not something minor like a missing letter in one word.

I'm very disappointed, that the dev would be so unprofessional. Especially when 4 people bought the game based on my recommendation. One of them today, who I have advised to refund immediately.

If the Dev ever at least explains himself I might revisit this review. As it stands.

Do not buy this game, it's broken and unfinished and the Dev seems to get triggered by feedback I have no clue what just happened. Since he didn't give a warning or an explanation I can only assume the worst.

Final Update: The dev has doubled and tripled down at this point. Banned on the Steam Forums (which Steam support will not help me with), the dev then accused me of never reaching out (false, I did in E-Mails and through their contact forms) and my bans being justified. The last thing I did to try and resolve this, is make another statement, tagging them and asking them to dm me on X if they wish to resolve this. It's been over a month.

The dev is butthurt, unable to take feedback or criticism, unprofessional when dealing with customers and unwilling to resolve this. So save yourself the money. If he could silence this review, he would do that too. Thank Gaben for standing up for consumers.

I wont say it's perfect. But it is the best adult game on the platform. One can only hope the industry takes notice. If they do decide to add more pandora content or maybe a DLC later, it might get to a 9/10 for what it is.

Story has surprisingly touching moments.
It released slightly unfinished. By Christmas 2024 most of the issue I had should be fixed. So ask LewdClaus for something naughty this year.
