Early Access Review
No Rest for the Wicked is already an incredible experience, even in its current state. The art direction is gorgeous, the combat feels weighty and skill-based, and the world has this dark, grounded atmosphere that makes exploration genuinely immersive. It feels like a premium, handcrafted action RPG rather than another generic early access title.

What really stands out is the sense of care in the design. Enemy encounters feel meaningful, progression feels earned, and the overall tone gives the game a unique identity. Even when things are tough, it rarely feels unfair—it feels like a challenge you’re meant to learn and overcome.

That said, I’m really hoping the 1.0 release comes soon. This game already has an amazing foundation, and the upcoming content and systems are going to elevate it even further. It genuinely feels like it’s on track to become something special once it’s fully complete.

If you enjoy dark fantasy, satisfying combat, and games built with real passion, this is absolutely worth your time—even now. And I can’t wait to see what it becomes at full release.
