I keep playing this game and then uninstalling it and then installing it and so on. I think I just reinstall it by pure peer pressure. I borderline hate it.

It is glitchy, laggy and crashes when changing the settings. Also maxes out my GPU even on only "high" settings. Also not enough props and too simple maps. It's not expensive for what you get but it still was bad enough to make me refund and not give another thought to this game's existence.

A solid rougelike RNG. Enough classes, builds, bosses and diverse modes that makes this a fun game and not boring in the run, while still remaining simple to learn.

A few tweaks is needed though, some stuff is too OP and some way to weak.
But the developers make a great job with that, constantly updating and buffing/nerfing!

I play it for the story.

I am really impressed with the level designs of this game. New and creative compared to the third one. One thing is that this was a bit too easy at times, but I enjoyed it none the less and will play much more from this franchise.

10/10 - Would smash that chicken again.

10/10 would undress that boss again for nostalgia.

The only reason that I'm not recommending this game is because LEGO keeps repeating the same mistakes that they do with the previous games.

Top Major Cons:
#1- Multiplayer. This was released in 2016 and it still has no online multiplayer, only local co-op. People don't but it on steam to sit at home and play with their siblings, they have friends in other countries and time zones and to enjoy a LEGO game is impossible to do together.

#2- Dragged out cutscenes. It may not sound as much but the 15 seconds I spend on watching a car blow up (that has nothing to do with the story line) just because the animation team wants to show how good they are is more time than I can tolerate.

#3- Video settings. Although they have added more things to adjust it doesn't really make any difference because you have to change it back every third second.

#4- The humour. To escalate from witty gestures and sounds to just sarcastic lines and random chickens (why?!) is such a low drop that really shows that they have lost the magical touch that the LEGO games used to have.

#5- Voices. Or more of the lack of them. Almost the entire game is lines direct from the movies which makes it feel very cheap and lazy. The constant one-liners, which most of the time even isn't from the movie that you are currently playing a level from, is dull and in time, annoying.

Although, if you are a huge Marvel fan and enjoy the movies aswell the comics you will have somewhat of a good time, just not as good as it could have been. I really wanted to love this and I hope I to some degree will the further I come, but it is looking very dark right now.

NOT worth the current price of 30 quid, but if you buy it on sale it is somewhat worth the price. If you have enough low standards.

Good beginning of a great game franchise.

Incredibly adorable, a bit creepy sometimes but nothing worth mentioning really. Simple gameplay. A second episode would not be totally wrong!
And that ending, thou. So cute.
